Residential Care

We provide residential services for adults with a Learning Disability and on the autistic spectrum who may display behaviour that challenges, offering specialised, person-centred support. Each residential service provides accommodation 52 weeks per year, 24 hours per day. Services are generally offered on a long-term basis to provide continuity and personal security.

We adopt a person centred approach and work with families, carers, advocates and other agencies to support people to achieve their goals, with creative solutions. Inclusion and participation is important so we involve the people we support in designing our service.

Each service user has a formal, detailed assessment when they are admitted to one of our residential care homes and we develop a personalised care plan on which their care and treatment is based. Where appropriate, family members and existing social networks are consulted and involved in the assessment process
